The Noni – Morinda citrifolia

Noni is a widely known and respected fruit, for nutrition, healthcare and curative reasons in the South-East Asian countries around the Pacific. In ancient Hawaii, Noni bark and roots were used to make yellow and red paint, as coloring.

When poverty struck, they used to eat the crude green noni fruits. Mixed with salt, verdant noni fruits are usable remedy for deep wounds and broken bones. Besides they used mellow noni to make bandages for bruises, wounds and abscesses. Even the juice is usable as pesticide and to get rid of hair lice. Besides Hawaii, noni fruit was commonly used in Malaysia, India and the historical Indochina.

Only one serving of Noni juice contains an average of 6mg vitamin C.
